and a half by car from the stunning holiday beaches of the Atlantic coast,
infamous for swimming, surfing, sunbathing and relaxing in charming beach
bars.
Being in the South
West Gers means Driving trips to
Bordeaux, Biarritz,
Hossegor,
Capbreton, Lourdes, Toulouse and San Sebastien in Spain are one
day excursions whilst Pau and Tarbes are seen as local towns.
The Midi Pyrenees
mountain range, which can clearly be seen from La Jeanne, offer
walking,, hiking and
climbing for all ages and abilities, beautifully decorated caves,
thunderous waterfalls and climbing to suit every skill .
Even closer to home are the villages of St Mont and Madiran
 infamous
for their fantastic wines and Marciac, which hosts a
world famous Jazz Festival every August.
Throughout the summer
you can be guaranteed that almost every day in some local village or town
there will be fetes and wine festivals bursting with fun and energy from
morning until the late hours.
